Ashley Tapp

Ms. Tapp is responsible for payer strategy for USOSM’s 180+ surgeon platform, including participation design and re-design to achieve practice and market-specific goals. She oversees payer enrollment, credentialing and strategy for all USOSM partner practices. In addition, she negotiates rates, making sure each agreement has the best contract terms and rates possible. She is an exceptional contract manager, maintaining each contract and optimizing and implementing market-appropriate practice fees to ensure maximum payer reimbursement.

Ms. Tapp has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare administration, with expertise in a wide variety of areas, from general practitioners and medical management organizations to medical specialists in OBGYN, allergy and asthma. She has been with USOSM since its formation in 2017, serving in a number of management positions. Ms. Tapp joined USOSM from one of the company’s original partner practices, Austin Oral Surgery, where she was the director of revenue cycle management. In addition to her expertise in healthcare administration, Ashley has several years of experience teaching at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and The University of Texas at Austin, her alma maters. Ashley holds her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her master’s and bachelor’s degrees from The University of Texas at Austin.
