Ukraine Major General Anatoliy Kazmirchuk, Chief of the National Military Medical Clinical Center, recently sent out a request for dental supplies to help soldiers and civilians wounded in the war. Dr. Richard Kim of Southeastern Minnesota Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery heard the call and asked USOSM to help.
USOSM’s Jamie Fickle sprang into action, gathering and preparing 70 boxes of supplies to be sent to the Ukraine through MEEST, an international shipping company that has shipped more than 2.4 million pounds of relief supplies to the Ukraine. The boxes have arrived at MEEST in New Jersey and will be air-shipped to the Ukraine shortly.
“I am so grateful to everyone at USOSM for their quick response and generosity,” said Dr. Kim. “We have an opportunity to make a tremendous difference and I urge you to join us. If you have any unused medical instruments/equipment stored in your office or taking up space, please consider donating it to this worthy cause.”
USOSM’s Jamie Fickle says she would be “happy to ship it on your behalf!” To support our relief effort, contact Jamie at (512) 293-6239 or jami.fickle@usosm.com.
